Gas Station Destroyed In Fire

The Shell gas station next to Rusty's Drive Inn in Cashmere was destroyed by fire last night. The fire was reported at 10:15 with crews responding from as far as Leavenworth and Douglas County to assist.

Cashmere Fire Chief Matt Brunner described how the fire started....

Brunner said there were no injuries.  The fire was limited to the mini mart structure and did not threaten the gas pumps or the nearby espresso stand business.
