Burn Ban Extended in Okanogan County

The burn ban in Okanogan County has been extended to Tuesday, February 21st at 8:00 a.m. The Washington Department of Ecology says air quality is expected to remain poor for sensitive groups throughout the weekend but light winds and rain on Monday should improve air quality by Tuesday morning. The burn ban in Kittitas County expired Friday at noon.
