Alcohol and speed led to a crash that damaged a therapists office near the S-curve on Chelan Ave early Thursday morning.

Captain Edgar Reinfeld said, "He straightened out. I'm not certain if conditions were a little bit slick there or if he just failed to turn because of high speeds, but he struck the concrete divider median that exists now where turn that block of Chelan back to a two-way street, got the car airborne, skipped off the top of the berm and was in the air for quite a long ways before smashing into the ground and bouncing into the building."

Neither the driver 23-year-old Tyler Shipley nor his passenger were injured. Amongst the charges the Entiat resident is facing is a DUI, and reckless driving.

Officers were able to contact the business owners who get a restoration company to help secure the building.
