Chelan Man Pleads Guilty to Tax Fraud
A Chelan man pled not guilty to tax fraud in Yakima Wednesday for filing a false tax return in 2011.
46-year-old Jose Echeverria owned and operated a produce sales business and is accused of underreporting his income by more than a half-million dollars between 2009 and 2012.
The IRS says Echeverria has admitted to a tax loss of $183,000.
Sentencing is schedule for May 11.
