ROCKFORD, Wash. (AP) - Court documents say a teen accused of killing a classmate and wounding three others at a Washington state high school had exhibited troubling behavior.

Documents and classmates at Freeman High School in Rockford detailed Caleb Sharpe's obsession with school shootings and videos of him playing with guns.

An investigator for the Spokane County Sheriff's Office wrote in an affidavit that Sharpe had been meeting with a school counselor over suicidal thoughts and had left a suicide note for his parents before the shooting.

Freeman High School has not responded to calls for comment on how they dealt with Sharpe's behavior outside of counseling for his thoughts of hurting himself.

Although Sharpe was scheduled to appear in court Thursday, lawyers agreed to postpone Sharpe's first court appearance until later this month.
