The Grant County Health District gave out some recommendations when it comes to dealing with the smoke.

If it looks smoky outside, it is probably not a good time for any outdoor activities.

It encourages all coaches to check the visibility and the quality of air before hosting outdoor practices/ activities and to seek opportunities to move practices/ activities indoors.

The Health District and Grant County Emergency Management have teamed up with many local cities in Grant county to set up county-wide distribution points for N-95 masks.

Chelan-Douglas Health District has been distributing masks at their office on Valley Mall Parkway in East Wenatchee. The masks are also available while supplies last at the following locations;

Wenatchee: Chelan County Fire on Easy Street and Downtown
Emergency Management Fifth and Western
Malaga Fire Station
Cashmere City Hall
Entiat City Hall
Leavenworth Fire Station
Chelan Fire Station and the Sheriff's Office Substation
