An informal survey conducted by Our Valley Our Future shows that Wenatchee Valley residents are frustrated with housing availability and prices. 90 percent of respondents said the Valley needed more choices in terms of types of housing for rent or purchase with the most common request for rental housing of single-family homes. In addition, 77 percent of responders don't believe the housing market can correct itself without additional community involvement. In terms of housing for rent or purchase, the biggest challenge according to the survey is inadequate supply of options.
