Three children from Ephrata were hospitalized Monday as a precaution after the vehicle they were riding in was struck on I-90.  Two 14 year old girls and an 11 year old boy were passengers in a vehicle driven by 38 year old Breanna M. Elliott of Ephrata.

Washington State Troopers say Elliott was driving 10 miles west of George when she lost control and swerved in front of of a semi truck driven by 41-year old Keith Day of Colville.  Elliott's 2012 Acura was struck in the rear by the semi.

The children were transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for observation.  Both drivers were uninjured.  Elliott was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
