Apple Blossom Carnival Moving to East Wenatchee

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival's Funtastic Shows Carnival will now be held in the Wenatchee Valley Mall parking lot in East Wenatchee this year.

Administrator Darci Christoferson said their original site for this years' carnival, the old WSDOT building property in the 1500 block of North Wenatchee Avenue, had some challenging loopholes include safety and logistical issues.

"It will be a lot like what it was like when we had it at the Town Toyota Center. It's actually a larger parking lot than the Town Toyota Center so it will be spread out more." Christoferson said, "It's amazing how big that parking lot is."

Specifically, the carnival will be held on the Sportsman's Warehouse side of the parking lot (the north parking lot).

The carnival, which has been an Apple Blossom tradition for over 60 years, will run April 29th through May 8th.
