Apple Blossom Festival Auction Cancelled

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Board of Directors decided Wednesday to cancel their annual auction, which had been re-scheduled for January 23rd. According to a press release, the auction has been the 3rd-largest fundraiser for the Apple Blossom Festival.

Festival Administrator Darci Christoferson said, "We just felt the timing wasn’t right to continue."

A fundraising element will now be added to the virtual Royalty Selection Pageant, scheduled for February 27th. There is also a link at appleblossom.org for individuals to donate.

Christoferson said staff will continue to plan for the 102nd Apple Blossom Festival April 22nd through May 2nd, 2021.
