Cascade Medical CEO to Serve as Board Chair for Washington State Hospital Association

Cascade Medical Chief Executive Officer, Diane Blake, added a role to her resume and now serves as board chair for the Washington State Hospital Association. Blake stepped into the role officially October 28 and will serve through 2022.

The board's main responsibility is to provide strategic oversight to the association. The association's mission to be a trusted source and indispensable resource for state health systems.

"It's an opportunity to convene hospital voices across the state and work together to really meet the needs of our communities and the people we serve," said Blake. "For each of us who participate, and I have a special opportunity as the chair this year, to bring the issues that we struggle with locally to the state level and help make sure those issues are worked on."

Blake has been a member of the board for several years and was recently offered the board chair position.
