COVID-19 Test Results UPDATE for NCW, statewide

The latest numbers from the State Department of Health (DOH) released Friday show 2 deaths and 65 confirmed cases of Coronavirus infections in North Central Washington. DOH figures show 13 cases in Chelan County,, Douglas County with 5, Grant with 44, Okanogan County had reported only three cases so far.

Coronavirus has been confirmed in all 39 counties of Washington state with nearly half of all cases statewide reported in King County. The state has more than 3, 700 confirmed cases.

As of Friday, the Covid-19 pandemic had claimed 175 lives with more than half of that figure (54%) in people over the age of 80 and 82 percent of the deaths among patients 70 or older.

Testing figures show the test have been done on 49,015 individuals with 93 percent of results returning negative.
