The Chelan-Douglas Health District released its weekly 'Thermographic' Wednesday, and trends are looking good.

According to the data from the health district, the two county area's case rate dropped again last week compared to the week previous. The rate of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people over 14 days had been 472 in the week spanning January 20th to January 26th. However last week the case rate fell to 323 per 100,000, a drop of nearly 150, or almost a third.

Ten Chelan County residents remain hospitalized, while there are no hospitalizations attributed to Douglas County. There are five non-residents hospitalized with COVID-19 in the two county area. Fifty-one Chelan and Douglas County residents have died of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
