The Chelan County Sheriff's Office is looking for a burglary suspect they consider armed and dangerous after he successfully got away from them three different times across the county Sunday.

The suspect was first reported to have asked residents in Cashmere if they needed help with snow removal at about 6 am, and is suspected in the theft of a mountain bike and two guns from another home in Cashmere (6000 block of Hay Canyon Road) at about 10:30 am.

Deputies also think the suspect was involved in at burglary call at about 11 pm at the Lookout in Chelan, where they believe they saw him on the same mountain bike stolen from Cashmere.

Several attempts to stop the suspect, who was driving a gold diesel powered Dodge Ram truck, were not successful and deputies did not chase him because no violent crime was committed.

The use of spike strips near Entiat also failed as the truck ran out of gas and the suspect ran away from deputies toward the Columbia River, where the use of drones failed to track him down.

The truck was found to be stolen out of Snohomish County. A loaded 9mm magazine and an empty pistol holster was located near the scene where the suspect fled.

Anyone with information about the suspect (pictured in this story) is asked to call Rivercom dispatch at (509) 663-9911 and ask to talk with Det. Paul Nelson ref. case number 22C00670.

A RING video of the suspect interacting with residents in Cashmere is posted here.
