A Collision Technical SpeciA Collision Technical Specialist from the Washington State Patrol is investigating a crash Wednesday morning that involved a Douglas County Sheriff's Office vehicle.

Trooper John Bryant said a 2016 Ford Explorer owned by the sheriff's office that was marked and had its lights on struck a 2020 Chevy Equinox around 10:15 am in the Eastmont/US 2 intersection just east of the Odabashian Bridge.

"One of the turn lanes was blocked, but traffic was able to get by on both sides." explained Bryant, "We were able to tow both vehicles within 15 or so minutes so we were able to clear the lane of travel."
