Dr. Malcolm Butler is stepping down as health director for the Chelan-Douglas Health District at the end of next month.

Butler announced his resignation at a monthly district board meeting.

Butler will continue in his role as Chief Medical Officer for Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH).

He's practiced as a physician in Wenatchee since 1993, and has served as the Medical Director of CVCH since 1995.
