Firefighters Respond to Structure Fire Off South Lakeshore Road

Chelan Fire and Rescue crews, with the help of Chelan Fire District 8 responded to a 12 foot by 12 foot metal shed that was fully engulfed around 12:30 Wednesday.

The blaze also spread and burned about one and a half acres of brush on the north slope of the property which is located on South Lakeshore Road.

A tractor and jeep were in the shed when it caught fire, and it's believed that one of the two vehicles may have caused it though that has yet to be officially determined.

The fire was put out in a little over an hour with mop up completed by 3:20.
