Free Sledding Day Offered at Lake Wenatchee Camp

Families are invited to participate in a free sledding day offered at Camp Zanika Lache in Lake Wenatchee. Camp Fire North Central Washington is hosting the event on January 18 from 10-4.

"We do have a lot of different activities we want to do," said Theresa Samuelsen, executive director. "We're going to have a little makerspace for arts and crafts inside so when the kids get cold, they can go inside and warm up."

There is also the promise of a snowman contest, snacks and hot cocoa with a fire in the backdrop.

"There's free overnight lodging if anyone wants to stay the night and we'll have breakfast in the morning," said Samuelsen.
