UPDATE: Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies Looking for Homicide Suspect Near Royal City

Update: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office says the body of 57-year-old Ismael Garcia has been found in orchard in Grant County.

Deputies had been looking for Garcia was a suspect in a shooting that took place at Auvil Fruit fields in Vantage.

According to a Facebook post by KCSO, Garcia was found with what they believe is a self-inflicted gunshot wound near where a truck he had been driving was found off Road D SW around 6 a.m.

Both Grant and Kittitas Deputies are investigating the scene.

The Grant County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to keep an eye out for a wanted suspect in a homicide that took place in Vantage Thursday and believe he may be in the Royal City area.

Deputies say that Ismael Garcia's getaway vehicle, a white Toyota Tacoma, was found near Frenchman Hills Rd and Road D SW, and that he is a suspect in a shooting that took place at Auvil Fruit in the orchards near Vantage.

Garcia is described as 57 years old, 5'8" tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be armed.
