The Washington State Patrol is re-emphasizing the importance of securing your load after hundreds of wood screws were dropped on to I-90 Sunday afternoon between Snoqualmie Pass and Hyak in the Eastbound direction.

The total spill covered seven miles of the highway, though the truck and driver were not found.

Trooper John Bryant says as many as 30 motorists or more ended up with flat tires which either had to be changed on the shoulder, which he said is risky, or a call to a tow truck.

The State Patrol provided rolling slow downs in the area which took about 20-30 minutes to clean up.
