A man accused of intentionally starting a fire last week in Wenatchee now faces arson charges.

Police arrested 32-year-old Peter Galletti last Wednesday afternoon near Locomotive Park.

He was identified through video footage as a suspect in an apparent arson incident the same day in the 700 block of South Wenatchee Avenue, where police found a pile of railroad ties on fire next to the railroad spur for Central Washington Grain Growers.

The fire did not cause any damage to buildings in the area.

Galletti did not express a motive at the time.

He now charged with 2nd Degree Arson and 3rd Degree Malicious Mischief.
