Moses Lake detectives are still collecting and analyzing evidence after two drive-by shootings occurred within a few hours of each other Wednesday evening.

Chief Kevin Fuhr said police were first called out to the 1100 block of West Marina Drive around 6:20 pm for a drive-by shooting. The shooting reportedly damaged homes that were occupied at the time.

Just as detectives were finishing up at the scene, another drive-by happened at about 9:45pm on North Buell Street.

"No injuries were reported in either one of the shootings; only property damage." Fuhr said, "Three homes were damaged, two in the first incident and one in the second."

Shell casings were found in the road at both locations. Investigators are in the process of trying to identify a car that was possibly involved.
