The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office has identified the man they believe killed an Omak couple earlier in the month.

The sheriff's office announced Saturday that it had issued an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Dylan Jay Harrington of Chesaw, Washington. Harrington faces two counts of 1st Degree Murder and two counts of Unauthorized Removal or Concealment of a Body.

Investigators allege that Harrington killed Dave and Gerlyn Covey the week of February 13th. The couple was checking on a property they own in Chesaw and were found deceased Wednesday evening.

Deputies saw a man running from a nearby cabin twice while conducting their initial search of the property after a welfare check was requested by family.

A search including members of the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office, North central Washington Special Response Team, Omak Police Department, Brewster Police Department, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the United States Border Patrol has not located Harrington so far.

Okanogan County Coroner Dave Rodriguez completed an autopsy of the Coveys Thursday and concluded they were both murdered by gunshot.

Dylan Jay Harrington is 5'9", 145 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office at (509) 422-7232 immediately. He is still considered armed and dangerous.
