The Chelan Douglas Regional Port Authority Board of Directors received a very positive update regarding Pangborn Memorial Airport's recent commercial passenger performance.

Airport Director Trent Moyers stated that they looked at similarly-sized markets such as Yakima, Pullman-Moscow and Walla Walla to see how things compared in terms of boardings.

"It looks like we've faired better than our peers in that. We have more travelers returning sooner and getting back onto airplanes," said Moyers.

In fact, Pangborn was 4th of 20 airports in the Northwest in passenger volume in March as compared to 2019. Average ticket prices for flying out of Pangborn also decreased by 14% in the last year.
