An East Wenatchee youth is facing multiple charges after he and two others were allegedly part of a trespassing complaint Wednesday afternoon that turned violent against police.

According to the East Wenatchee Police Department, Eastmont School District reportedly contacted law enforcement after a juvenile that had been expelled from the district earlier in the year was seen back on campus with two other friends.

After reportedly contacting the group of three mid-teenagers near 5th Street Northeast and North Grover Place, Eastmont School Resource Officer Ivy Jacobsen attempted to place one of the group under arrest.

"At least one or possibly two of the subject's friends intervened and obstructed the officer from making the arrest by physically intervening." Sergeant James Marshall said, "One of the subjects attempted to assault the officer during the altercation."

The juvenile that was arrested has been charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest and could be facing an assault charge.

No one was injured during the incident. Police said they have identified the other two juveniles involved and will be contacting them in the following days.
