Pybus University is underway for spring 2021 with the next class set for February 2 at 7:30 p.m., 'Be Red Cross Ready'.

Pybus University offers a variety of free classes from subjects for coping mechanisms for stress, the power of music and how to flourish as a small business. The series will be conducted primarily via Zoom this year on Tuesdays from now until the end of April.

"The other thing we're trying to do is we're recording all of our Zoom classes in the hopes to make, maybe, a YouTube series that folks can go on after the fact and still get that content," said Mary Henson, Pybus University coordinator.

Each class will be led by instructors seasoned in the subject field with many of the classes correlating with the recent challenging year the community has endured.

"We partnered with the Red Cross in our area. They're going to do a 'Be Red Cross Ready' class. I'm excited about (the class), with the fire season we had this last year, I just think it's a great topic to get ready, to be prepared," said Henson.
