The City of Quincy has announced some guidelines for youth and adult recreational sports with Grant County in Phase 2.

In a letter posted to their Facebook page Friday, Quincy says team practices can resume if players are limited to groups of five in separate parts of the field with buffer zones to practice physical distancing.

Also, each league, team and organization must follow the return-to-play safety plan.

Finally, parents, family members and others will not be permitted to congregate on the sidelines during practice.

Recreation Director Russ Harrington says as soon as they move to Phase 3 they will, "Work to help residents get out again and enjoy sporting activities."
