Quincy teenagers looking for an avenue to congregate and have fun now have an option that is safe and monitored thanks to Quincy Recreation department coordinating a bimonthly Teens Night at the recreation activity center. Teens can head to the Quincy Recreation Activity Center every first and third Friday starting in November.

"(We're) just giving other options, rather than walking around in the streets in the evening time, not having anything to do," said Russ Harrington, recreation director. "Just open up a building and have some staff here, have some games and activities and have a safe and warm place for everybody to go."

Teen Night is free with snacks and games to keep teenagers ages 13-18 occupied from 6-10. The program will wrap up in May 2020.
