Squirrel Causes Saturday Power Outage in East Wenatchee

A squirrel is to blame after a power outage in East Wenatchee Saturday cut power to approximately 1,600 customers.

Douglas County PUD says the outage began around 10:00 a.m. and last about an hour or so before power was restored.

No details were posted on their Twitter page as to where the squirrel was found, but it is known to happen that they can knock out power.
