Only some roads will be snow paved up to a certain point, other roads may be closed due to excess snow levels.

Firefighters are optimistic that this weekend’s snowfall will finally extinguish the fires.

This fire will keep burning until an influx of rain or snow finally extinguishes it.

All of the fires have accumulated to 9,814 acres, with 15 personnel currently working on the fires.

Portions of both the Pacific Crest Trail and Pacific Northwest Trail remain closed at this time, along with the trail from Holman Pass north to the Canadian border.

There is a new fire south of Rimrock Lake near Naches that was an escaped campfire. It is less than an acre large.

The first timber sale will likely go out to bid next month

USDA Forest Service spokesperson Victoria Wilkins said they have the potential to receive $30 million over the next decade.

These restrictions are the result of increasing fire danger in the national forest.
