The Wild charged back from a 4-1 deficit early in the second period Sunday against the Kamloops Blazers, getting a hat trick from Easton Armstrong in a 7-6 overtime win.

The Wild split a weekend set at CN Centre, scoring a 6-3 win over the Cougars for their first road victory of the season. Wenatchee cleared away three of the home team’s power plays, and got three points apiece from Graham Sward and Easton Armstrong, who put the Wild ahead for good with less than a minute left in the second period.

The Wenatchee Wild scored first and led after two periods but the potent Prince George power play helped erase the deficit and the Cougars rallied for the win Friday.

In Sunday’s game against the Vancouver Giants, the Wild scored the opening goal of the game for the first time this season, but the Vancouver Giants held off a comeback bid for a 6-2 win at Langley Events Centre.

A power play goal and another short-handed goal was not enough to lift Wenatchee to victory over the Kelowna Rockets in Saturday nights WHL action.

Wenatchee battled back to tie Friday’s game twice, but Everett's goal with 1:01 remaining in overtime clinched the victory for the Silvertips at Angel of the Winds Arena. Wenatchee falls to 1-1-1-0 on the year with the loss.

The Wenatchee Wild made their official debut in the Western Hockey League Friday night, and made a powerful opening statement: they are never out of a game. Trailing 4-1 late in the first period, the Wild charged back to tie the game in the opening seconds of the third period, pulling ahead on Landon Young’s eventual game-winner at the 3:14 mark and knocking off the Portland Winterhawks by a 6-5 count.

The Wild will hit the ice for the first time as a WHL side Wednesday, September 6, going on the road for a 2 p.m. faceoff against the Spokane Chiefs. The first full weekend of WHL preseason competition will see the Wild host the Tri-City Americans at Town Toyota Center on Saturday, September 9 at 6 p.m.

The Wenatchee Wild earned a 4-2 victory over the Cranbrook Bucks on Easter Sunday at Town Toyota Center, taking their Interior Conference quarterfinal series four games to two and closing out the campaign for the second-seeded Bucks.
