Winter Storm Watch Expected For Cascades This Weekend

A winter storm watch is on its way for the Cascade Mountains this weekend.

Although the advisory is mainly for the west Cascades, Snoqualmie and Stevens passes are included.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy snow is expected to bring 8 to 18 inches of snow. The winter storm watch will run from midnight tonight to 6:00 am Sunday. Travel could be difficult over the mountains, and drivers are advised to go slow and use ample caution.
