Formerly based in Chicago, Matthew is a veteran music journalist. His reporting and criticism have appeared in dozens of publications, including Rolling Stone, Spin, the Los Angeles Times, GRAMMY.com, BET Digital and his beleaguered hometown daily, the Chicago Tribune. This is Matthew's first job in radio - and his first stint in Washington. The mountainous terrain, though lovely, freaks him out a bit. (He'll adjust.) Matthew has no hobbies to speak of, unless reading and writing count.
