City of East Wenatchee Releasing Information on Snow Removal

The City of East Wenatchee has released their snow removal guide and map for the upcoming winter season.

The map is divided into primary and secondary roads with a note that Department of Transportation will be maintaining the Sunset Highway/SR 28.

Property owners are asked to clear the full width of their sidewalks within twenty-four hours after the snow or ice ceases to fall.

When clearing your sidewalks and driveways, please throw snow into your yard or landscaped areas, as it is llegal to throw snow from your sidewalk or driveway into the street.

Also if you have a fire hydrant on your property, you are asked to clean around it for ease of access.
