The city of Wenatchee is on the hunt for folks who want to give back to the community and volunteer to provide snow removal services for eligible seniors and persons with physical disabilities.

"It's a great opportunity for our citizens to help their neighbors," said Tammy Stanger, city clerk.

Residents in the holiday spirit to give back, high school students needing to complete the community service requirement or organizations such as service leagues are all invited to reach out to Stanger for the volunteer opportunity. Interested folks can reach her via phone at 888-6204 or email at cityclerk@wenatcheewa.gov.

"I can get them on the list," said Stanger. "And when there's a disabled or senior citizen that needs assistance, we can reach out to them to volunteer to help shovel their sidewalk."
