The Sunday night update from Southeastern Washington Incident Management Team 3

The fire is 40 percent contained.

Work performed today: State strike teams were on scene working to stabilize hot spots that were wanting to flare up. Aviation assets were used to drop water on larger fire load spots.
Fire losses and injuries: There have been 2 structures lost. There is no confirmation on the type of structures. There have been no injuries reported.
Status Summary: The early morning rains helped with wetting fuels slowing the fire down in many areas.

A level 2 evacuation order has been issued for the following areas;

W Gillis Road starting east from the Adams/Grant County Line to SR 26.
East on SR 26 to Danielson Rd.
South on Danielson Rd. to Bench Rd.
West on W Bench Rd to W Kuhn Rd.
East on W Kuhn Rd to W Hatton Rd.
East on W Hatton Rd to S Miller Rd.
South on S Miller Rd to W Yeisley Rd.
East on W Yeisley to SR 24.
West on SR 26 to S McKinney Rd.
North on S McKinney Rd to W Yeisley Rd
West on West Yeisley Rd to S hart Rd.
South on S Hart to SR 24.
West on SR 24 to Adams/Grant Line.

Level II means conditions indicate a good probability that hazards associated with the approaching
fire(s) will severely limit our ability to provide emergency services protection. Dangerous conditions
exist that may threaten your residence or business.

The East Saddle Fire incident command post is located at Othello High School.

There will be state mobilization resources on the fire ground through the night tonight to watch and check that winds do not bring life back to the fire line.

Number of resources: 5 strike teams consisting of 40 wildland engines and 2 dozers as well as 2 Helicopters. There is currently a total of 150 firefighters assigned to the fire.
