Fifty men fought the blaze that was called in around 10:40 AM Sunday morning.  According to Chelan County Fire District One, Public Information Officer, Rick Isaacson, when the first units arrived, only a modest amount of gray smoke was showing and fire crews performed a quick search to determine no one was trapped inside the warehouse belonging to Sports Liquidators.  It was at this time the fire intensified and a second alarm was called bringing in men and equipment from Chelan County Fire Districts 1, 2, 7 & 8; Douglas County Fire Distrcits 2 and 4 plus the Cashmere Fire Department.  There were no injuries sustained in the fighting of this fire and it will be days before the Fire Marshall can investigate the blaze to determine cause.  Snarled traffic and evacuated businesses near the fire were inconvenienced all afternoon.
