A dry lightning event moved through the Wenatchee Valley Monday afternoon and has potentially sparked several small fires. Brett Stanger with Central Washington Interagency Incident Command or CWIC tracked the storm's path.

He says it moved through Mission Ridge and Colockum. From there, Stanger said the cell moved into the Rock Island grade and Palisades area of Douglas County.

As of mid-afternoon, fire crews were dispatched to two fires along the Malaga Alcoa Highway and investigating another above Palisades Road. Undetected fires as a result of Monday's lightening could be discovered in the next few days.
