Lost load blocks traffic near Monitor

A truck spilled it's load of plastic containers onto US2 near Monitor and blocked westbound lanes for at least 30 minutes Thursday morning.  The WSDOT was able to cleanup the containers and sharp objects to protect motorists tires accodring to Trooper John Bryant who tweeted the photo above.  The removal was expected to be completed by 9am but took longer than expected causing some lengthy backups.  The exact cause of the spilled load was not immediately available from the Washington State Patrol.
