The Washington State Patrol responded to 263 collisions and other calls for service on area highways through 11:30 Monday morning according to Trooper John Bryant.

The worst day was Friday with most of the incidents in the Kittitas County area.

That was true of the rest of the weekend as well though there were no major injuries in any of the North Central Washington accidents.

The Wenatchee area had just 11 issues handled by the State Patrol through the end of Sunday.

Bryant says pass closures off and on over the weekend helped, and many people were able to stay home and did.

Friday:

65 collisions, 43 calls for service.

Saturday:

28 collisions, 43 calls for service.

Sunday:

19 collisions, 42 calls for service.
