Quincy Man Killed Collision

A Quincy man died in a head on collision west of Quincy Saturday morning just before 7am. Troopers report 21-year old Hector Rosales Ayala was killed when his his vehicle was struck by a car that had crossed the center line driven by 55-year old Reynaldo Ureta of Quincy. Ayala died at the scene about a mile west of Quincy on Highway 28. Ureta was hospitalized in Quincy.  The accident investigation closed the highway for about 4 hours and traffic was rerouted on a detour on local roads.
