Search for Missing Man on Banks Lake

The Grant County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who has gone missing after jumping from a stationary boat on Banks Lake northwest of Coulee City.

Deputies say the man is from Western Washington, but is not providing further details other than his family has been notified.

Marine units and drones searched for the man yesterday with members of the Columbia River Dive Rescue team will join the efforts today.

The 911 call was placed just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
