Quincy Mayor Paul Worley has declared that Sunday, March 29th will be a day of prayer in the city.

In the proclamation, the mayor cited the impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on the town, including the loss of one of their residents.

He noted that the people of Quincy have come together to face disasters with tenacity, courage and volunteerism.

Mayor Worley says the day is open to people of all faiths, religious traditions and backgrounds to pray for strength, inspiration and awareness.
