Chelan County has had 40 re-sentencings, 136 dismissals, and 918 cases where one or more counts were vacated. The county also had to refund over a total of $310,000 back to those defendants.

On June 4, 2022, Cpl. Seth Buhler and officers Jeff Ward, Stephanie Valencia, and Andrew Wilson shot and killed 32-year-old Zachary C. Rutherford of Jackson, California.

A Leavenworth man was sentenced to five years in prison Thursday, for assaulting a woman in his own home.

Devon McGrady was sentenced Wednesday in Chelan County Superior Court after pleading guilty to three counts of child molestation in the first degree and one count of violation of a no contact order.
