Volcano

A swarm of earthquakes under the largest volcano in the Cascade Mountain Range has some people wondering if it's rumbling back to life again.

The park covers over 54,000 acres and includes vast old lava flows, lakes, a 1.5-mile lava tube, and a seismically active volcano, “Newberry Crater”.

Mauna Loa Volcano is the Big Island of Hawai'i is at a Level RED volcano alert.

If an earthquake were to happen, Glacier Peak would send Mount St. Helens’ sized mudflows at the very least, and large volcanic eruptions at the very worst.
