Washington State Special Olympics Winter Games

The Special Olympics Washington State Winter Games are back in Wenatchee March 1st - 3rd. A Polar Plunge Fundraiser is set for the Opening Day in Walla Walla Point Park. Organizers are putting out a call for local volunteers to stage the event.

The city council this week approved a monetary donation of $10,000 to the group that stages the event.
