Yesterday, during my daily walk down Wenatchee Avenue, I noticed something rather unusual. It's not actually too unusual to notice something unusual on Wenatchee Avenue if you look hard enough, even every day, but this bit of unusual was especially qualifying...

The Y has officially closed on the $1.2 million land purchase of the property it'll occupy.

The city recently extended McKittrick Street on the east side of Wenatchee Avenue, which can provide an entrance into the site.
