North Central Washington will have two community members representing the region on the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission. A Chelan County resident, Dr. John Lehmkuhl, and an Okanogan County resident, Melanie Rowland, are being appointed to the commission.

The two were recently appointed to the nine person citizen panel by Governor Inslee. The commission is responsible for setting policy. Dr. Lehmkuhl is a former U.S. Forest Service research wildlife biologist and Rowland is an environmental attorney.
