A third suspect in the June 5th shooting of a 24-year-old man on 9th Street in East Wenatchee was arrested Monday.

East Wenatchee Police Chief Rick Johnson said officers received assistance from the U.S. Marshal's Violent Offender Task Force as Armando Valdez-Godina was wanted on three counts of complicity to 1st-degree assault and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.

"They spend the day checking residences in Chelan and Douglas County. They ended up locating the individual on Bainard Road in Malaga at a family member's residence." explained Johnson, "There was a short food pursuit after they located him but he was taken into custody without incident."

Valdez-Godina was booked into the Chelan County Jail. While Valdez-Godina and a prior suspect were both armed in the June 5th incident, it's still unclear who actually fired the shots.

A search warrant was also served on a vehicle of Valdez-Godnia's as well as a 5th wheel. The investigation is ongoing.
