Census Response Varies Throughout State

Census workers have begun going door-to-door to try and get the most accurate count possible for the 2020 edition.

So far, about 55% of Chelan County residents and nearly 61% of Douglas County residents have responded.

Both numbers are behind the 2010 response rates with the deadline to fill out the census being the end of the year.

More than 70% of Washington State residents have responded with the highest return from Clark County.

The Evergreen State has had the third highest response in the country.
